The Shopping Cart

The quickest and most convenient way to purchase prints from The North Light Studio is to use the PayPal shopping cart system which is installed on the site. By clicking the "add to cart" button you are taken to the PayPal website which processes your order securely. All major credit cards are accepted. You do not have to have an account with PayPal to use the shopping cart although it is a good idea to have one, as it makes things simpler and quicker. You simply use your username and password and do not have to enter credit card information. With or without an account though, the shopping cart system is 100% secure. The North Light Studio does not collect any sensitive information as all is handled by PayPal. This is the ordering and payment method that we most recommend.


Order by Mail

The North Light Studio can process mail orders paid either with check or by credit card. Click on the "Order Form" button below and print out the PDF file order form. Fill in all the requested information and mail to the address indicated on the form. You will recieve an email confirmation when your order is received (as long as you provide us with an email address). It is important that all the requested credit card information be included, if this is the payment method. Your order will be processed as soon as the payment method has been verifed. Payment can be by check or any of the above listed credit cards.

Order by Phone

Although The North Light Studio accepts credit card orders by phone, it may mean leaving a message and having your call returned. The studio phone can be called at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your call will be returned either the same day or within one business day. All the information that will be required for a phone order can be found by clicking on the "Order Form" button above. Phone orders can be made with any of the credit cards listed above.

Other Information

Discounts for Bulk Orders

The North Light Studio may offer discounted prices for large orders of the same print, as, for instance, may be needed by Interior Designers for commercial applications such as hotels or office buildings. These discounts must be negotiated on a per situation basis. Designers are welcome to contact The North Light Studio with inquiries or proposals. See the Contact page.

Custom Orders

The North Light Studio may offer custom orders, insofar as they are feasible. As for instance;

Making a print of a size other than those listed on the order page.

Making a print of a detail of one of the images.

Cropping an image.

Altering an image digitally to change the color or light/dark balance.

Contact us with inquiries regarding custom orders and we will quote a price based on the amount of work needed. Please note that there are restrictions regarding the enlargement of details due to a loss of resolution.

Return Policy

If a customer is not satisfied with a print it can be returned for a refund or a one time only exchange for a different image of the same size. The North Light Studio will reimburse for return postage ONLY if the print is somehow flawed or has been damaged in shipping. Otherwise the buyer must cover the cost of return postage. We can not accept returns on prints which have been damaged by the buyer. To return a print send an email to thenorthlightstudio@verizon.net and write "return" in the subject line. State the reason for the return and wether you wish a refund or an exchange. If you wish for an exchange include the title and item# of the new print. Exchanges can only be for the same size and material (paper or canvas) as the returned print. Mail the print to the address on the Contact page. Returns will be processed when the returned print is received.

Privacy Policy

The North Light Studio will not share any personal information with anyone for any reason. Your email address will not be added to our mailing list unless you specifically request to be on the list. See the Contact page.

Shipping Information

All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The average time of delivery is 3 to 5 business days for Continental US. All paper prints are shipped rolled and will usually be sent out within 2 business days after the order has been received and payment verified. Prints on canvas must be stretched (except for the two largest sizes) and coated with 2 coats of sealant, each of which needs an overnight dry. Canvas prints will usually ship within 4 to 5 business days after receipt of the order and payment verification. The two largest sizes on canvas are shipped rolled. They will have at least a 3 inch white border for stretching. The buyer must remember to take the expense of stretching into account when purchasing one of these sizes. If the buyer provides an email address we will send notification when the order has been received and when it has shipped. All prices listed include shipping and handling.
